Pressing Matters Winery and Residence

The Pressing Matters Winery and Residence project in Tea Tree encompassed the creation of a wine fermentation and production facility at an existing vineyard, along with associated storage and services infrastructure, and the upgrade of an existing storage shed to be used as a visitor and wine tasting centre.

The new facilities establish a cohesive group of farm structures – alluding to the properties adjacent, neighbouring, and within the local area – harmonising colour, form, and texture. Addressing view lines and providing a theatre of arrival for visitors entering the site, the progression of building shapes follow and complement the landform and bucolic environment, set against a backdrop of undulating hillside.
