Podium Office Fitout, Parliament Square

The Podium Office Fitout project encompassed an internal office fitout for Tasmania’s Department of Justice, within the new Parliament Square development. BPSM designed modern, open and collaborative work spaces, whilst also meeting the DOJ’s operational requirements and addressing the need for an accessible workplace – ensuring adherence to the Disability and Discrimination Act, with the concept of universal access being incorporated into all elements of the design.

With the aim of promoting healthy work environments for the well-being of staff, the design reflects a warm, comfortable, accessible, and welcoming work space. Environmentally sustainable features have been incorporated to complement the base building architecture, including maximising natural light.

The space is also being designed with future use in mind, answering the need for adaptability and functional change, whilst providing value for money.
