Barossa Park Aged Care Under Way
Barossa Park Aged Care facility is now well under construction.
The Barossa Park Aged Care facility is an essential part of this new retirement village in Glenorchy which is being developed by a community based, not-for-profit organisation.
The first 18 independent units were opened in February 2012, and the aged care facility will open later this year. This new facility will cater for 128 residents, including dementia specific facilities and a stepdown unit for seniors who do not require acute care or a hospital, but are not ready to return to independent living.
The new facility has 4 separate villages, which are broken down into 4 pods of 8 residents, which creates both a family sized environment, with the activity level of the larger village giving lifestyle options and benefits.
The latest communications and technologies are being installed to support the quality of care that OneCare Limited provides, within a relaxed, homely environment.
